Entry requirements
The Science Graduate Scheme aims to recruit high-calibre graduates into the Science area of NATS. The scheme has been running for over 15 years and has attracted a large number of enthusiastic individuals, who have developed and enjoy successful careers within NATS.
As far as qualifications are concerned, you should have a minimum of a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a numerate, science-based subject and ideally, a post-graduate qualification. For our Human Factors roles, a degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics or Occupational Psychology would be an advantage.
In terms of your strengths, we look for excellent interpersonal skills, strong IT knowledge and a sound analytical background. Attention to detail and the ability to solve technical problems are also key, as are innate leadership skills, commitment and drive. Aside from this, all we ask is that you meet the general health standards as defined by NATS medical branch. You must also be eligible for NATS security clearance.
