Training and development

As a self-motivated student, you'll be encouraged to get as much out of the year as possible by developing mathematical and statistical analytical skills, using a range of IT and programming packages, through to report writing and presenting the results of your work to customers and colleagues.

You will receive on-the-job training for specific work areas, giving context to your tasks and allowing you to learn how analytical techniques are used in practice. Operational Analysis staff have a range of technical backgrounds, from mathematics and statistics to computing and aerospace engineering, so there are always plenty of people for you to ask questions and learn from.
