Who we are
Guiding over 2.2 million flights - carrying some 200 million passengers - is no mean feat. But thanks to a combination of state-of-the-art technology and the expertise and dedication of our people, that's precisely what NATS manages to achieve over the course of a year. We supply air traffic control services to aircraft flying through our airspace and to our largest and busiest UK airports. As such, we're responsible for the safe, efficient and orderly passage of flights through UK airspace, the eastern part of the North Atlantic and for the world's busiest single and dual runway airports.
We are industry leaders in terms of technology and business development. We operate out of 15 airport control towers and two area control centres across the UK - as well as Gibraltar. We also offer world-class training to a range of professionals, from air traffic controllers to engineers and provide first-class consultancy and design services to the UK and international market place.
